Time to catch up! It’s clearly I need to work on finding inspiration better – it’s easy to go straight to typography with numbers and I’ve been doing that a lot lately.

This one seemed obvious to my. Modern logo design’s playfulness with typography has fascinated me as of late. I’ll probably do a whole month of typographic design.

I feel as though I’ve seen this treatment of the number seventeen in a Soviet-inspired poster. It’s tucked far enough in the back of my mind that there’s no real basis for this. I guess it could just as easily be an “n.”

This one’s a stock photo from sxc.hu. I’ve had trouble applying textures to text in CS4 – got that figured out now. I also wanted to delve into the transformation of text for the faded graffiti. I’d love to hear your hints and tips on that.

I’ll bet you thought I forgot! It’s day 12 and I wanted to see how easy grid creation was with pathfinder in AI. It’s easy.
Before manipulating the center objects, it was also a good experiment in the Hermann grid illusion
