You may see me performing in a variety of settings. From a Classical Masterworks concert with the Imperial Symphony Orchestra (ISO) to a restaurant appearance with my own jazz ensembles of various sizes, I play a variety of music for many occasions.

You will often find me performing with my trio, the Matthew Wengerd Trio. The instrumentation of the trio depends on the setting; my favorite is a drummerless trio – piano and bass with a horn or guitar.

You will often find me performing with tenor saxophonist Rich Van Voorst as the Wengerd|Van Voorst Duo. A former classmate of mine, Rich is one of the finest instrumentalists and nicest people I know.
