In light of our coming little bean, we purchased a Canon T1i in order to capture every moment of the little one’s time in and out of the womb.
On a related subject, I took and processed several pictures from my friend Boone’s bachelor party this week. These pictures are low-light photos from Oishi restaurant and Splitsville in Channelside. I do not own a hotshoe or off-camera flash, so I had to crank the ISO and aperture. Your comments welcome.

First of all… I did not know you had a bean coming!!! AHHH That’s so exciting! Second of all, how low was the lighting? These look pretty darn good, though I don’t know what kind of camera you’re working with.
Is that Mike D?
Wow, those are great pics. That’s an excellent camera, btw, and can be made even better with better lenses than the one it comes with.
You see things well. Nicely done!
I got back into photography the same way–bought a new camera to take pictures of my kid. Then I remembered how much I liked it! It’s an almost an equal passion with music now. Be careful!
I think they look just fine. Except for the last one, there’s not a lot of noise in any of them. Nice.
